The GFC and its implications for Australia

Businesses face a challenging future if current economic conditions continue or deteriorate further.

As a public practitioner and business owner it is imperative that you have the information you need to advise clients and develop strategies to ‘recession proof’ businesses.

This presentation, free to members, analyses the global financial crisis and the financial system, placing it into context and outlining the implications for Australia.

As well as providing insight into the economy and how businesses must react, expectations for 2009 and 2010 are discussed.

Presented by Mark Rodrigues, Economist, National Australia Bank, this keynote address recording was filmed at the Victorian Public Practitioners Convention in Lorne on 28 May 2009.
